Ocular Protholitic Rehablitation
Our Ocular Oncology Department deals with various tumors (cancer) of the eye and
the surrounding structures. Conditions managed commonly in this department are
retinoblastoma, Choroidal Melanoma, Orbital tumours, metastases and lid tumours.
WWe have acquired a large spot diode laser with indirect laser ophthalmoscope
for delivery of transpupillary thermotherapy to retinal tumors, including
retinoblastoma and choroidal melanoma.Recent innovations in treatment like
Transpupillary Thermotherapy (TTT), chemotherapy, etc have enabled salvaging
many eyes and lives.
